The primary objectives of this Flood Early Warning System (FEWS) project are as follows: - Develop a comprehensive and integrated FEWS that utilises the latest technology. - Utilise live hydrological and meteorological data feeds, including rainfall and river flow gauges and rain radar. - Enable timely dissemination of flood-related information to inform emergency response efforts. - Enhance the safety of residents, property, and infrastructure in Northland during extreme weather events. The tender will close at 4pm on 31st May 2024. We expect the project to be completed before 31st March 2025.
