We need that advice to ensure we have the right structural and service requirements in place, that room layouts are optimal, and that our designs are future-proofed to the greatest possible extent. It is also important we can accommodate future equipment selections, regardless of the equipment and supplier(s) selected. Our initial need is for input into Project Whakatuputupu, the New Dunedin Hospital (NDH) facility. While detailed design is still underway, current design layouts of the new mortuary spaces will be made available to the shortlisted respondents. We expect to need advice for other sites as well.
