Project: Tender19424 - Request For Information - Modernized Education Financial Information System . This Request For Information (“Rfi”) Is Issued By His Majesty The King In Right Of Ontario As Represented By The Minister Of Education “The Ministry”, For The Purposes Of Gathering Information About The Marketplace In Order To Assist In The Determination Of Future Purchasing Options Or Requirements. Suppliers Are Asked To Respond To The Ministry And Provide The Information Requested In The Section 4.0. Scope Of Work Current System Operates On Four Reporting Cycles Every School Board Fiscal Reporting Year (Estimates, Revised Estimates, Financial Statements, And Consolidation Reporting). The Current Reporting Year Plus Two Historical Reporting Years Are Active For Data Inputs And Updates From Regular System Users. Some Data Changes In Historical Years Need To Propagate To The Current Reporting Year. Historical Reporting Years Beyond The Two-Year Mark Are Archived; However, They Are Available For Read-Only Data Retrieval. For Each Reporting Year And Cycle, The System Presents A Collection Of Data Forms That Captures User Input And Business Logic Based On Grant Calculation Models And Accounting Standards, And Formatted Financial Reports That Display The Information In A Manner That Is Easy To Understand And Follow. Each Cycle Has Distinct Calculation And Data Requirements. As Such, The System Should Allow Business Users To Make The Majority Of Calculation And Data Form Changes With Relative Ease Without Making Updates To The Solution’S Framework.
