Internal Audit Services . Canadian Museum Of History100 Laurier Street, Gatineau, Qcrequest For Proposals (Rfp) For Internal Audit Servicesthe Museum Is Seeking Proposals From Potential Firms Who Have Experience In Providing Internal Audit Services Which Are To Be Provided To The Canadian Museum Of History (Cmh) Located In Gatineau (QuÉBec) And The Canadian War Museum (Cwm) Located In Ottawa (Ontario), Canada. This Is A One-Step Two-Envelope Submission Process (Technical And Financial) To Select The Highest Ranked Proponent Who May Then Be Invited To Negotiate Or To Enter Into A Contract With The Museum.The Selected Contractor Will Be Required To Deliver The Services Described In The Procurement Documents Including, But Not Limited To, The Following:Develop And Provide Training To Ensure That Members Of The Senior Leadership And Management Teams And Members Of The Board Of Trustees Share A Common Understanding Of Risk;Update And Enhance The Risk Management Framework (Rmf) As Required;Lead On A Yearly Basis An Assessment Of The Internal And External Operating Environments To Understand The Museum&Rsquo;S Risk Context And Risk Appetite (E.G., Level Of Risk That Is Acceptable To The Museum In Pursuing Its Objectives);Develop A Three-Year Risk Based Audit Plan (Rbap) Identifying Audit Priorities And Update Annually Or As Required. The Rbap Should Consider The Activities Undertaken By The Office Of The Auditor General Of Canada And Recent Audit Activities.To Be Considered, Proposals Must Be Received Before The Closing Date And Time Noted In The Merx Ad Through The Merx Electronic Bid Submission System. Refer To The Instructions To Proponents For All Associated Details.Information Provided By The Proponents Will Be Evaluated Using The Established Criteria In The Rfp. The Criteria Relate To Previous Achievements And Experience, As Well As Technical And Managerial Expertise.The Security Requirements For This Project Are Identified In The Rfp Documents.The Objective Of This Rfp Is To Establish A Contract From January 1, 2025 To December 31, 2028.If Mutually Agreeable Between The Selected Proponent And The Museum, This Contract May Be Extended For Up To Two (2) Additional One-Year Periods With The Same Terms And Conditions. Refer To The Procurement Documents For Further Details.Firms That Consider Themselves Qualified To Provide These Services Are Invited To Submit Their Proposals On The Forms That Are Available Through Merx Or As Directed In The Procurement Documents.The Museum Retains The Right To Negotiate With The Proponents On Any Aspect Of The Procurement.Proposals May Be Submitted In Either Official Language Of Canada.Proponents Can Obtain The Award Result Once Posted On Merx.
