Work Detail
Engineering Services – Renewal Of Glt/Ddc Substations At The Max Planck Institute For Polymer Research In Mainz, Msr (Mpi-Poly), Lph 5-9. The Subject Of The Service To Be Awarded Are Engineering Services In The Area Of Hvac Technology In Accordance With §§ 53 Ff. Hoai Technical Equipment For The Lph 5-9 For The Construction Project Renewal Of Glt / Ddc Substations (Mpi-Poly) For The Following System Groups (Ag): Ag 2 Heat Supply Systems, Ag 3 Ventilation Systems And Ag 8 Building Automation. According To The Cost Calculation, The Expected Chargeable Costs For The Aforementioned System Groups Are Approximately €1.2 Million Net. The Total Construction Costs (Kg 200 To 700) Amount To Approx. €1.3 Million Net. The Mpi-Poly Was Built In 1986-1991 And 2005-2006, With A Usable Area Nf 1-6 Of Approx. 10,600 M². The Existing Building Management Technology (Bms/Msr) With Different Protocols And Two Master Computers As Well As Fault Reporting Panels Often Dates Back To The Years 1985-1992. The Basic Structure Of The Inventory, With Around 20,000 Data Points And 26 Information Points, Needs To Be Upgraded With The Associated Control Cabinets And Ga Stations, Including The Cabling To The New Master Computer And The Fault Message Panels. A) Ag 2: The Heating And Cooling Registers Of The Air Conditioning Systems And Heating Circuits Are Partly Controlled With Pneumatic Control Valves And Are To Be Replaced By Motorized Controls Of Control Valves, Including The Electrical Wiring Related To The Object Of The Order. Replacing The Valve Requires Changes To The Pipe Network. B) Ag 3: The Drives Of The Air Conditioning Systems With Speed Controllers (Motor And Power Parts Cannot Be Separated, A Separate Replacement Of The Power Part Is Not Possible) Are To Be Replaced By New Fans Including Motors, Which Can Be Controlled With Commercially Available Frequency Converters, Including Those On Electrical Cabling Related To The Subject Of The Order. C) Ag 8: The Renewal Of The Bms/Msr Technology Including The Electrical Cabling Related To The Subject Of The Order In The Entire Institute Building. The Basis For The Structure And Structure Of Building Automation Is The Communication Of All Automation Systems Via A Self-Sufficient Bacnet-Ip Network, Parts Of Which Already Exist. In The Final Expansion, Communication At The Management And Automation Level Takes Place Exclusively Via Bacnet-Ip. All Components To Be Planned As Part Of The Measure Are Planned Using The Bacnet Protocol Standard Amev-B. The Visualization And Dynamization Of The Processes Takes Place Via A Completely New Building Management System. The Existing Network Cabling Is Also Used. The Connection Of Floor Switches In A Ring Structure Will Not Be Pursued Further Due To Local Conditions (Building Arrangement In A Star Shape), But Should Be Shown As A Dashed Line In The Network Cabling Diagram. Retrofitting Is Possible (Floor Switches Are Planned To Be Manageable). Automation Stations Are Buffered With Capacitor Modules. The Glt/Msr Manages, Among Other Things: Alarm/Fault Management, Activation Of Fire Dampers, Meters, Automation
