Expression of Interest are invited for Legal Consultant - Public Law - Unitel Project The International Finance Corporation (IFC) has been mandated by Unitel S.A. (Unitel or Company)) to act as lead transaction advisor in its partial re-privatization through the sale of the shares held by one or more of Unitels shareholders on the Angola Securities and Debt Stock Exchange (BODIVA) and/or by any other suitable mechanism in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations of the Republic of Angola (the Project). IFC seeks to hire a legal consultancy firm (Firm) to support IFC with Public Law matters, such as: (i) review of ownership /nationalization process; (ii) review of the current laws and regulations pertaining to public entities in general and the telecommunications sector in particular; and (iii) review from a public law point of view, the legal framework that may be applicable for the transaction.
