Tenders are invited for Consultancy Services for Strategic Environmental and Land Use Development along Phase 2 of the Trans Sumatera Toll Road The consulting services (the Services) provide a study or assessment to integrate environmental and social considerations into land use planning along the Trans Sumatera Toll Road alignment (phase 2) and analyze the secondary impacts of the toll road development on potential land use changes. The services are to ensure environmental and social considerations are integrated into the land use planning and development along phase 2 of Trans Sumatera Toll Road. The scope of work includes 3 stages involving 8 tasks: A Stage 1 Establishing the context for SESA (Strategic Environmental and Social Assessment) 1 Task 1 Conduct literature review of key environmental and social challenges and vulnerabilities in Sumatera, specifically along Phase 2 of JTTS (from Betung to Pekanbaru). 2 Task 2 Re-examine current land use plans vis-a-vis the impacts of JTTS Phase 2 (from Betung to Pekanbaru, including project-based learning from JTTS Phase I which is currently operational). 3 Task 3 Update the land use scenarios along the JTTS Phase 2 (from Betung to Pekanbaru).
