Research Consultancy Services – Collection Of Environmental Data Relevant For The Exposure Scenario Of Freshwater Sediments From Small Edge-Of-Field Water Bodies In Eu Agriculture Areas. The Objective Of This Call Is The Collection Of Existing And The Generation Of New Environmental Data Relevant For The Characterisation Of Aquatic Sediment Scenarios To Estimate The Exposure Of Pesticides In Small Water Bodies Adjacent To Agricultural Fields At The Eu Level. The Relevant Data/Information Should Be Collected And Analysed In Line With The Sediment Properties Considered In The Current Focus Surface Water Scenarios (E.G. Dry Bulk Density, Organic Matter, Porosity). The Output Is Designed For The Refinement Of Specific Scenarios To Predict “Realistic Worst-Case” Exposure Concentrations Of Plant Protection Products In The Sediment Compartment With The Focus Tools (I.E.: Toxswa Model). The Assignment Will Include A Bibliographic Search Of Published Scientific Literature And Available Database, And An Experimental Activity To Collect And Generate High Quality Field Data From Sediments Of Edge-To-Field Streams/Ditches/Ponds Representative Of The European Focus Surface Water Scenarios
