Tenders are invited for Inspection of Storage Tanks in All Naoc Locations & Maintenance of Storage Tanks in All Naoc Locations SCOPE OF WORK Inspection 1. Mobilization and demobilization of all necessary materials, personnel and equipment to and from site. 2. Inspection of storage tanks using appropriate NDT techniques to assess and determine the integrity of the tanks, determine damage mechanisms, diagnose problems leading to loss of integrity, determine the scale of the problem and certify the facilities in accordance with the relevant industry standards and DPR regulations. The inspection methods to be used include but not limited to the following: Magnetic Particle/Dye Penetrant Inspection Radiographic/X-ray inspection Acoustic Emission Testing Ultrasonic Thickness Testing (Phased Array Ultrasonic, Automated Ultrasonic, Time-of-Flight Diffraction, Computed Tomography/Digital Imaging) Mechanical Strength Testing (Hardness, Tensile, Impact and Creep/Fatigue Test) Eddy Current (Electro-Magnetic) Testing Leak Testing Positive Material Analysis Hydrotest Inspection Detail EEMUA 159/API 653 Inspection of tanks Tank bottom Inspection by Magnetic Floor Leakage (MFL) inspection Metallographic Inspection CLOSING DATE Only tenderers who are pre-qualified with the relevant NJQS product/service categories, (3.07.01- Facility Maintenance: Non-destructive Testing and 1.08.01-Heavy Duty Equipment Supply Installation and Maintenance) as at 21st of May 2024 by 16:00hrs being the advert closing date and time, shall be invited to submit Technical Bids. The strategy is to award two (2) contracts at the end of the tender exercise to the two (2) lowest commercially responsive bidders. The contract will be progressed through the Nipex system. 7.
