Practically Insoluble In Ether, Benzene, Chloroform, Petroleum Ether, Oils, Fats. Under The Influence Of Air And Light, It Gradually Darkens. In Dry Form, It Is Stable In Air, Aqueous Solutions Quickly Oxidize In Air. Molecular Weight 176.13. Sodium Ascorbate — Small Crystals, Freely Soluble In Water: 62 G/100 Ml At 25 °C, 78 G/100 Ml At 75 °C. Most Primates (Including Humans), Guinea Pigs, Some Birds, And Fish Cannot Synthesize Vitamin C. In The Human Body, The Necessary Supply Is Replenished By Food Intake.
