The Netherlands Armed Forces Must Be Able To Continue Operations Under Cbrn Threat And Deployment Of Hostile Cbrn Combat Assets. Cbrn Decontamination Has Five Sub-Areas. Hazard Management Is One Of The Aforementioned Five Sub-Areas. Hazard Management Is Necessary To Limit The Effects On Personnel And Equipment, And The Impact On The Operation. Decontaminating Personnel, Equipment Or Areas Is A Form Of Hazard Management. The Current Decontamination System Is Outdated, Labor-Intensive And Does Not Meet Modern Standards. In Order To Decontaminate Large Numbers Of People, Equipment And Surfaces As Effectively And Safely As Possible, It Is Necessary To Replace The Existing Thorough Decontamination Capability. The Delivery Agreement Involves The Delivery Of Seven (7) Operational Decontamination Capabilities (Systems) For Personnel, Vehicles, Aircraft, Equipment And Area And Two (2) Capabilities For Decontamination Of Sensitive Equipment, Including Associated Goods And Services. In Addition The Maintenance Agreement Involves All Maintenance Activities For An Initial Period Of 15 Years Including The Option To Extend This Period With Five (5) Years And All Elements Of Integrated Logistics Support (Ils)
