Tenders are invited for Technical Assistance to Assess Agri - Food Equipment 2. Purpose/Objective (s) Review equipment offerors, analyze specifications of Agri-equipment, inform / advise Hanga Akazi on the reliability, durability, and source of supply of the Agri-Food equipments to be purchased to its grantees. Advise and make written recommendations, participate (if need be) for in person and/or in teleconference committee calls for bids evaluation. 3. Scope of Work Analyze and assess reliability of equipment specifications. Assess quality and durability of Agri Equipment Identify reliable source of supply of Agri-Equipment. Advise Hanga Akazi on the right supplier Check the supplied equipment if it matches with the specifications provided. The consultant will also be responsible for conducting in-person trainings with equipment operators and mechanics, ensuring that they are knowledgeable and can demonstrate safe operating procedures, regular maintenance schedules, and how to make common repairs. The consultant will work closely with the HA team to schedule and plan all training sessions. 4. Deliverables and Schedule The consultant will execute the tasks as defined in the scope of work. The expected timeframe for this consultancy is April to May, with up to 10 days of level of effort (LOE). Hanga Akazi will issue to the consultant a task order upon availability of task to be performed. In providing the services, the consultant shall provide a task performance report which captures the scope of work.
