Expression of Interest are invited for Market Sizing and Supply Side Interventions - Women-Led Nano and Micro Enterprises in India. CGAP is undertaking an initiative to understand the current volume and nature of financial services available to nano and micro-enterprises run and owned by women in emerging markets. The overall CGAP project is focused on three countries India, Kenya, and Uganda. The initial phase of the project focuses on a literature and desk review of segmentation dimensions, with the second phase focused on the validation of the segmentation criteria within the three focus countries. The third phase of the project, and the focus of this specific assignment, is an exercise to size the market of nano and micro-women entrepreneurs in Kenya and Uganda and, where possible to provide a breakdown by segment. The firm(s) conducting this exercise will also be responsible for providing recommendations on the type of interventions that various stakeholders in the nano and micro enterprise universe need to take to support women owned businesses and help them grow. This includes but is not limited to financial and non-financial services. The scope of this EOI is limited to India.
