The New Building Serves To Accommodate The Space Required As Part Of The Expansion. In The Future, 18 Classrooms Will Be Built At This New Location. The Existing “House Of Crafts” Building From The 1950S And The Connecting Bridge To The “Office Building” Must Be Dismantled To Make Space For The Extension Of The Karl Rehbein School. The Demolition Is Included In The Overall Project. A Three-Story Building Is To Be Built In Place Of The “House Of Crafts” On The Approximately 2,045 M² Site In The Designated Construction Area. The Construction Site For The New Building Was Placed Between The Rear Border And The Border On Schlossplatz. The Front Edge Of The New Building Should End On The Property Boundary Towards Schloßplatz So That The Entrance From Schloßplatz Into Fronhof Can Be Clearly Seen From All Sides (See Appendix 2.01.03 Site Plan). Due To Its Location In Hanaus Old Town And The Historical Development In The Surrounding Area, The New Building Should Fit Into The Existing Listed Environment. The Total Volume Of The New Building Is Divided Into Two Wings With A Central Hall As A Connecting Link. The Front Building On Schlossplatz Has A Tiled Gable Roof. The Rear Building In The Fronhof Is Designed With Green Flat Roofs And Staggered Floors. The Staggered Floor Will Also Receive A Photovoltaic System. The Elevator And The Open Staircase Are Located In The Two-Story Entrance Foyer Of The Connecting Building. Two Closed Stairwells Serve As Escape Stairs From The Respective Areas Of Use. A Partial Basement Already Exists In The Existing Building And Is Also Being Considered For The New Building. The Elt Planning Services Include: High-Voltage Technology (System Group 440): The New Building Is Supplied By A Newly Constructed Low-Voltage Main Distribution System. The Technical Integration Of An On-Site Photovoltaic System Must Be Taken Into Account Here. When Designing Sub-Distribution Positions, Short Cable Lengths In The Final Circuits As Well As Fire Protection Issues Must Be Taken Into Account. A Sun Protection Control Must Be Provided For Shading. An Energy-Efficient Lighting System With Lighting Control Must Be Planned For All Rooms And Sections.
