Services Provided By Extra-Territorial Organizations And Bodies – Technical Assistance For The Implementation Of The Support Program For Competition And Consumer Product Safety In Sub-Saharan Africa-West Africa Component (Uemoa/Ecowas) –Pacospro. Technical Assistance For The Implementation Of The Program To Support Competition And Safety Of Consumer Products In Sub-Saharan Africa West Africa Component (Uemoa/Ecowas) –Pacospro Technical Assistance Will Particularly Support The Uemoa Commission ( The Competition Department) And The Ecowas Commission (The Regional Competition Authority) For A More Effective Implementation Of Competition Policy In The Uemoa, In Particular, And In West Africa, In General. Furthermore, The Activities That Will Be Planned Will Aim To Support The Convergence Between The Uemoa Competition Authority And The Ecowas Competition Authority (Arcc) Within The Framework Of Their Memorandum Of Understanding. With An Indicative Duration Of 40 Months, The Project Will Be Implemented Through A Team Of Two (2) Main Experts Coupled With Specific Expertise. The Operational Base Of The Two (2) Main Experts Will Be In Ouagadougou, Head Office Of The Uemoa Commission. However, The Team Of Principal Experts Will Be Required To Travel To Banjul In The Gambia, The Head Office Of The Ecowas Regional Competition Authority In Order To Collect All The Information Necessary For The Execution Of The Mission Or The Coordination Of Certain Activities.
