Advanced Rf-Based Technologies for Future Space Transportation (Adraft) - Expro+ The objective of the activity is to derisk in short timeframe advanced RF-based technologies for Future Space Transportation. This technology field includes (but is not limited to) the space-based telemetry systems, which covers active antenna and phase shifters,Software Defined Radio (SDR) for frequency translation (from S-band to Ka-band) or local oscillator sharing to avoid frequency jumpat transmitter switch. The technology field addressed by the activity also includes the investigation on technologies for GNSS beyond MEO. After the identification of potential application and the definition of related requirements, the activity shall allow identifying the potential gains in terms of performance and/or recurring costs and then demonstrate the ability of the technology to bring these gains to the identified potential application by manufacturing and testing a breadboard of the proposed technology.
