This Tender Is To Carry Out Repairs And Maintenance Work To Properties Throughout The Wakefield District And Surrounding Area.Wdh Is Looking For A Minimum Of Two Contractors Within Each Lot Who Can Work Across The Whole Of The Wakefield District And Surrounding Area. All Lots Will Include An Element Of Emergency Work And Any Contractor Must Have Provision To Attend To Emergencies As Outlined In This Document.The Internal Repairs Work Will Require Contractors To Carry Out Joinery, Plumbing Plastering, Bricklaying, Mould And Flooring Repairs To Tenanted Properties. Please Note: Gas And Electrical Repairs To Tenanted Properties Are Excluded From This Tender. The External Repairs Work Lot Will Require Contractors To Carry Out Roofing, And Guttering Repairs To Tenanted Properties. The Work To Be Carried Out Within This Contract Is To Provide An Effective, Responsive And Preventative Day To Day Maintenance And Repairs Service. This Duty Will Include The Repair And Maintenance Of Any Building Fabric, Any Component Or Fitting That Is Attached To The Fabric, Any Service Conduit/Pipe, Mechanical Appliance (Excluding Gas And Electrical Works), And External Works Including Aspects Of Open Space Infrastructure To Ensure That Properties Remain Safe, Secure, Operable And Provide A Suitable Environment For Occupiers And Visitors.
