The Coastal Division Of The Maritime Services And Coast Agency (Mdk) Has The Task Of Protecting The Coast And The Hinterland Against Flooding From The Sea. The Coastal Department Attaches Great Importance To The Various Coastal Functions And Tries To Integrate Natural Values With The Economic, Recreational, Tourist And Culture-Related Coastal Experience In A Sustainable Manner. Promoting Water-Related Recreation Along The Coast And In & Around The Coastal Marinas Plays An Important Role In This. The Presence Of Floating Debris In And On The Water Is A Disturbing Factor In The Coastal Experience. For This Reason And To Prevent The Seas From Becoming A Plastic Soup, The Coastal Department Wants To Continue Its Efforts In The Fight Against Floating Waste. Today The Coastal Department Is Busy Manually Clearing Floating Debris In The Coastal Marinas. This Is Highly Dependent On Local Conditions Such As Weather And Current And Ensures A Less Optimal Result. To Improve The Result Of Dirt Removal And Scale Up The Frequency, The Coastal Department Wants To Roll Out An Innovative Solution For Sucking Floating Dirt On The Water Surface Around The Floating Infrastructure In The Marinas. For This They Are Looking For A Fully Automated Solution With Minimal Manual Intervention. The Object Of This Assignment Is The Roll-Out Of An Innovative Solution For Removing Floating Dirt In The Coastal Marina Of Blankenberge. The Contract In Question Is A Contract For The Contracting Of Services And Covers The Installation, Further Development And Operation Of Services For A Total Period Of 2.5 Years. The First Six Months Are Intended For Installation, Followed By 2 Years Of Operation And Further Development. Operation Can Be Extended By One Year. For Further Development, A Conditional Part Offers The Possibility To Expand It With 4 Iterations.
