Request for proposals are invited for Mechanical Engineering Consultancy. Closing Date: Friday, 12. Apr 2024 Intervention Sector(s): Development Mercy Corps is looking to hire a Mechanical Engineering Consultant to assist one of our programs in the following tasks: Conduct on-site visits for three fertilizer lines (Zahle, Hazmieh and Chouf) and a semi automatic line for snacks (Matn) Develop the specifications based on insights gathered from on-site visits and specific requirements outlined by the business owner. The comprehensive specification documents cover a wide range of elements, including, but not limited to, technical details, Bill of Quantities (BOQs), functionalities, electricity requirements, dimensions, capacities, materials, and any other essential specifications. Assist in the Q&A session, providing expertise and clarification during the question and answer discussions. Review and evaluate technical proposals. Conduct quality check visits during machinery delivery and installations, confirming accuracy and ensuring that the equipment aligns with the provided specifications.
