Link to tender is https://portal.tenderlink.com/waitomo As part of its programme to improve the capacity and resilience of potable water supply in the Te Kuiti District, Waitomo District Council plans improvements to the reservoirs, mains, and associated infrastructure situated at the Te Kuiti Water Treatment Plant. There are three phases proposed for this project: Phase 1, Project Initiation is nearing completion by Council. It involves land acquisition, securing required easements, and appointment of the scope designer. Phase 2 Scope Design - Councils appointed scope designer (WSP Consultants) is undertaking modelling of the existing network capacity and consumption patterns to confirm required reservoir and water mains specifications; geotechnical investigations; assessment of existing infrastructure; preparation and review of the project design package; preparation of cost estimates and projects schedules. This work is expected to be completed by the end of June 2024. Phase 3 Detailed Design and Physical Works Construction. This ROI seeks to short-list up to three suitably qualified and experienced companies or consortia to undertake the design and construction works in Phase 3 of this project.
