The Market Town Of Asparn An Der Zaya Is Planning To Expand The Existing Kindergarten. The New Entrance To The Kindergarten Is Being Built Between The Existing Building And The New Building, Protected By A Generous Canopy. There Are Spacious Corridor Areas In Front Of The Group Rooms. These Serve, Among Other Things, As Extended Activity Areas With Quality Of Stay As Well As Reading Corners And Exhibition Areas For The Children. Daylight Flows Into The Interior Through Floor-To-Ceiling Glazing, Creating Views And Visual Connections To The Outside. The Walls, Ceilings And Roofs Of The Extension Are Made Of Solid Wooden Elements. This Enables Rapid, Prefabricated, Cost-Efficient And Ecological Construction. The Inner Surfaces Remain Partially Visible And Can Of Course Be Oiled. The Facade Cladding Is Weatherproof With A Pre-Grayed Wooden Facade. Wood Fiber, Hemp Insulation Boards And Mineral Wool Are Used As Thermal Insulation. The Glass Facade Elements In The South, West And East Will Be Equipped With Mechanical Sun Protection Slats. The Floors Are Covered With Wood And Natural Rubber. The Wet Rooms And Corridor Areas Will Be Tiled.
