Building Construction Work – City Of Obertshausen - Europe-Wide Award Of Planning And Construction Services For The New Town Hall Building. Due To The Poor Condition Of The Two Existing Town Halls, The City Of Obertshausen Intends To Merge Both Locations Into A New Building. After Intensively Examining Several Variants And Considering Alternative Locations, The City Of Obertshausen Decided To Build A New Building At The Existing Location At Schubertstrasse 11. The Existing Building Is To Be Demolished As Part Of This Construction Project After The Town Hall Is Put Into Operation. The Properties Are Owned By The City Of Obertshausen. The Tender Is Based On A Spatial And Functional Program Decided In December 2024, Which Describes In Detail The Organizational And Spatial Requirements Of The Ag For Approx. 165 Employees On Approx. 2,900 M² Nuf. The Tender Process Should Be Used To Find The Most Acceptable Solution Under The Given Conditions, I.E. The Best Solution In Terms Of Economics, Technology, Functionality And Design For The Fastest Possible Implementation Of The Construction Work. The Client Therefore Assigns To The Contractor The Planning And The Turnkey, Functional And Operational Construction Of A New Town Hall, Including Preparation Of The Property And Public Development As Well As Complete Demolition Of The Existing Building And The Other Installations And Paved Areas On The Site Property. The Bidder Must Offer The Client To Plan The Town Hall According To The Specifications Of The Spatial Program And The Functional Service Description And To Build It On A Turnkey Basis And Then To Dismantle The Neighboring Existing Building. The Contracted Services Are Expected To Be Provided From June 2026 And Are Expected To Be Completed By The End Of 2028. The Applicants Selected As Part Of The Competition Will Receive Further Information On The Subject Of The Contract With An Invitation To Submit An Offer. The Following Service Period Is Intended: 6 / 2025: Award Of Contract 12 / 2025: Submission Of Building Application 12 / 2028: Operational Completion Then: Dismantling Of The Existing Building
