The Programme will implement property or community level interventions to reduce the risk to life, and future harm, of people living in dwellings that were impacted by flooding as a result of Cyclone Gabrielle. Funding has been approved to enable up to 143 identified dwellings across the region categorised as Category 2P following the North Island Severe Weather Events in 2023, to manage the services required to assess and scope properties for subsequent remediation through elevating or relocation elsewhere on the property, with the floor level to be above the Cyclone Gabrielle flood level height by a minimum of 500mm. This tender seeks to secure the specific skills required for assessing and scoping property feasibility, with subsequent detailed design, costing, and physical works. This opportunity may suit either a single supplier with the capacity to cover all aspects of Stage 1 and Stage 2, or multiple suppliers that can present tenders that cover the necessary requirements.
