Bids Are Invited For Petroleum Products

The Scope Of This Erfq Is To Secure A Comprehensive Supply Base That Can Deliver Various Types Of Petroleum-Based Fuels To Meet The Operational Needs Of A Broad Demographic Of State And Local Government Users Who Require Quality Products/Service, Timely And Effective Delivery, And High Levels Of Customer Care During And After The Sale. Specifically, Authorized Users Of Petroleum-Based Products Will Require Delivery Of Five (5) Types Of Petroleum Based Fuels: 1. Conventional Regular Gasoline Blendstock 10% Ethanol, 2. Conventional Unleaded Gasoline, 3. Diesel Fuel Dyed Low & Ultra Low Sulfur, 4. Diesel Fuel Ultra Low Sulfur #2, And 5. Sme Biodiesel Ultra Low Sulfur #2 & Ultra Low Sulfur #2 Dyed Based On Two Delivery Types (Tank Wagon & Transport) Which Are Differentiated By The Minimum And Maximum Size/Volume Of The Order. Please See Section 1.7 Definition Of Terms (Attachment A) For How These Delivery Types Are Defined And Reference The Program Requirements Document (Attachment B) In Section 4.2.B (Operational Requirements: Delivery) For Further Detailed Description. To Provide Maximum Responsiveness, Cost Effective Solutions, And Successfully Meet The Operational Needs Of Authorized Users, The State Seeks Bids From Suppliers That Can Deliver The Full Range Of Petroleum Products To Multiple Counties Within The State Of Georgia. Specifically, The 159 Counties That Constitute The State Have Been Grouped Into 12 Distinct Regions As Set Forth In The 12 Region Sourcing Map (Attachment M). Counties Have Been Grouped Into Regions To Give Suppliers Interested In Providing Petroleum Products Across An Entire Region(S) Additional Insight Into The Scale Of Fuel Demand Across Larger Geographical Areas. Suppliers Must Be Capable Of Providing Petroleum Products In Accordance With The Requirements Stated In This Erfq And Must Submit Pricing On A Minimum Of Two (2) Counties To Be Eligible For A Statewide Contract Award.
