As part of these enhancements, we want to understand and determine the availability of services for quantitative respiratory protective fit testing in accordance with the AS/NZS 1715 standard. We are interested in identifying suppliers who can provide testing services on a local, regional, or national level. This initiative reflects our ongoing commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of our firefighters and communities. By gathering information through this RFI, we aim to assess the availability of suitable suppliers in the market and determine the best approach for procuring quantitative RPE fit testing services. Our objective is to strengthen our respiratory protection programme and equip our personnel with the necessary resources to effectively carry out their duties in the safest possible manner.
