Installation of underfloor insulation is required (if possible), cushion-backed carpet tile and suspended ceilings with LED lighting will improve acoustics and enhance the teaching environment. Block R is in poor condition and requires an upgrade to bring it up to standard. The access ramp is not compliant. A compliant accessible ramp and new deck with new exterior door will be fitted.. Installation of a suspended ceiling with LEDs will improve the classrooms appearance, thermal comfort, energy efficiency and acoustics.
