Project: Tender19336 - Indigenous Learning And Development Services . Development And Delivery Of An Interactive And Facilitated Online Indigenous Focused Learning Training Program. The Program Will Contain 8 Modules, To Be Completed At The User S Own Pace Over A 10-Week Period And Will Include Facilitated Pre-Safety Training And Post-Continued Learning Planning Sessions And Resources. The Program Will Aim To Enhance The User S Knowledge And Awareness Of Key Issues That Indigenous People Face In Ontario And Their Impacts, Enhance The User S Understanding Of Anti-Racism, Inclusion And Equity Concepts, And To Enhance The User S Skills To Work More Effectively With Indigenous People And To Understand The Rights Of Indigenous People In Ontario. Content For The Program Will Be Ontario-Specific And Non-Partisan. It Will Also Offer Two Streams For Indigenous And Non-Indigenous Users, Specific Features To Allow Bilingual Users To View Course Material In French Or English, And The Option For Users To Complete A Full Training Course Or A Refresher Training Course Based On Their Completion Of The Previous Mandatory Training Program. Scope Of Work To Support The Successful Delivery Of Government Mandates And To Enhance Foundational Learning For All Employees In The Ontario Public Service, The Ministry Is Seeking A Vendor To Develop And Deliver An Aoda Compliant Interactive And Facilitated Online Training Program With 8 Modules, To Be Completed At The User S Own Pace Over A 10-Week Period. The Program Will Employ An Anti-Racist And Decolonizing Curriculum To Examine The Impacts Of Colonization On Indigenous Peoples And How It Contributes To Systemic Barriers, With A Specific Focus On The Experiences And Issues Of Indigenous Communities In Ontario. Aoda Compliant Modules Will Be Guided And Supported By Trained Facilitators Who Will Be Assigned To Each Cohort Of A Maximum Of 25 Users. Facilitators Will Be Available To Respond To User Questions, Prompt Discussions, Monitor User Safety, And Review And Respond To User Discussion Entries. The Program Will Also Include Facilitated Pre-Safety Training And Post-Continued Learning Planning Sessions And Resources. The Program Will Ensure All 65,000 Public Servants Have The Necessary Skills And Core Competencies To Work With Indigenous Peoples, Communities, And Support Government Priorities To Build And Sustain A Strong Ontario. Bidders May Attend The Optional Information Session At One Of The Following Date/Time(S) Below: March 22, 2024 At 11:00 A.M. (Toronto Time) Or March 22, 2024 At 2:00 P.M. (Toronto Time). Optional Information Session Will Be Conducted Via Microsoft Teams.
