2024 Downtown Pay Parking . Notice Is Hereby Given By District Of Tofino Of Its Intent To Purchase Direct From Robbins Parking Services Ltd. For The Provision Of Parking Services From May 1, 2024, To April 31, 2027. The Maximum Cost Of The Proposed Service Over Three Years Is $1,387,340. This Does Not Include Gst Or Credit Card Fees. As The Value Of This Particular Contract Is Estimated To Be Or Over The Nwpta Threshold For Goods And Services This Notification Is Required Under Nwpta For Single/Sole Supplier Procurement. The District Of Tofino Has Chosen Not To Tender The Contemplated Contract For The Following Reasons: 1. The District Is Under Contract For The Beach Portion Of The Pay Parking Program Until July 2024, And Seeks To Reduce The Administrative Costs Of Managing Two Parking Contracts. 2. The District Seeks To Mitigate Any Mobilization Impacts As The Pay Parking Program Begins On May 1St, 2024, Leaving Little Time To On Board A New Contractor. 3. The 2023 Downtown Parking Program Was Interrupted Due To The Cameron Lake Fire Which Impacted The District S Ability To Determine The Feasibility Of The Downtown Pay Parking Program. The District Seeks Stability Over The Next Three Years To Properly Assess The Viability Of The Overall Parking Program. Service Providers Who Believe They Can Supply This Service To The Same Or Higher Standards And Who Wish To Object To This Decision Should Email A Letter Of Objection Presenting Specific Reasons For Their Objections By 2:00Pm Local Time On March 29, 2024 To: Pavel Fetisov Engineering Project Coordinator
