Notice of Information (Advance Notice) (NOI) for Mechanical Services to Upgrade Linear Accelerator Chilled Water Systems Open Date: Monday, 18 March 2024 3:30 PM (Pacific/Auckland UTC+13:00) Close Date: Friday, 22 March 2024 5:00 PM (Pacific/Auckland UTC+13:00) Tender Type: Notice of Information (Advance Notice) (NOI) Tender Coverage: Sole Agency Regions: Manawatu-Wanganui Required Pre-qualifications: None Overview: The Oncology Department of Palmerston North hospital is fitted with four Linear Accelerator treatment machines and a Computed Tomography (CT) Scanner all of which require chilled water supply for operation. The existing chilled water supply system is a mixed model arrangement consisting of standalone chiller systems and associated fan coil units as well as other heating, ventilation, and air conditioning plant such as fan coil units and air handing units. Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Oa MidCentral wishes to upgrade the chilled water supply system. It will issue a Request for Tenders for the provision of Mechanical Services shortly. In advance of issuing the RFT, it wishes to advise the arrangements for the site visit and invite interested suppliers to register to attend. The site visit for this project will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday 3 April 2024. Please park by Heretaunga Street Gate 2 entrance and assemble at the base of the boiler house chimney (shown on the map attached), by 10:50 am at the latest ready for an 11am start.
