Work Detail

The Swedish Road Administration Is To Upgrade The L rdal Tunnel On The E16. The Tunnel Is 25 Km Long, Has A Run, And No Real Detour Option. An Efficient Construction Implementation Is Absolutely Essential For A Successful Project. The Norwegian Public Roads Administration Invites Dialogue On How The Construction Works Can Be Carried Out Rationally, With The Least Possible Inconvenience For Road Users. In The L rdal Tunnel, 26 Technical Buildings With Associated Emergency Pockets Will Be Blasted Out. Large Parts Of The Tunnel Contain Scree Rock, And The Total Rock Volume To Be Transported Out Is Approximately 200,000 Pfm . It Is Assumed That The Tunnel Can Be Used For Traffic In The Usual Way Between 06:00 And 18:00 Every Day. A Complete Electrical And Automation System Must Be Delivered, (Comma) Including 4 Shaft Ventilators. The Existing Installation Must Be Operational Until The New Installation Is Approved For Use. The Social Impact Of The Tunnel Being Planned To Be Closed To Traffic Between 6Pm And 06 Is Big. All Measures That Can Be Implemented To Help Reduce The Disadvantages Of Night Closures, Without At The Same Time Creating Unnecessary Challenges For The Implementation Of The Construction Work, We Want To Get Input On Through Market Dialogue. What Must Be Considered In Particular Are: To What Extent Is It Possible To Arrange For Traffic To Pass Through The Tunnel Also At Times Between 18:00 And 06:00, When Tunnel Work Is In Progress? What Engineering Steps Can Be Taken To Make This Happen With The Geological Challenges That Exist In This Tunnel? What Consequences Will Such An Arrangement Have For The Length Of The Construction Period, And In Particular The Period During Which Blasting Work Is To Be Carried Out? How Many Attack Points Is It Realistic To Be Able To Establish Simultaneously In The Tunnel During Blasting Work? Do Multiple Points Of Attack In The Tunnel Contribute To Unacceptable Uncertainty, And Thus Reduced Predictability For Those Affected By The Closure?
