Responses to this RFI will inform and assist us in understanding available suppliers in this market. Information gathered as part of this process may be used to inform future procurement decisions. Participation is optional. While a RFI can be a precursor to a subsequent procurement process (e.g. a Request for Proposal), a secondary procurement process is not guaranteed. Participation is optional, and not responding will not preclude any supplier from participating in any future procurement opportunities that may arise. Background Council currently employs a range of security services from a variety of providers. The requirements for these services have developed over time on an ad-hoc basis. We wish to investigate the opportunity to bring our security service requirements together in to one contract. What we need For the purpose of this RFI Council security service requirements are limited to: : 24/7 alarm monitoring and response/guard dispatch (e.g. libraries, water-treatment plants, etc). Day-time guard (9am 5pm) Night Guard Patrols Opening/locking gates and toilets After Hours welfare check calls (of customer staff eg. loneworkers) CCTV Technical Support For this RFI, Council security service requirements do not include regulatory compliance related services such as animal control, noise control and freedom camping.
