Description: Tender No. 14 /2023-24 NATIONAL TRANSMISSION AND DESPATCH COMPANY NOTICE FOR INVITING TENDER Tender in sealed cover are invited from the firms who have registered with PEC for the following civil works. The bidding documents shall be issued after fulfilling below mentioned eligibility, conditions and upon production of required documents. Rs. 4,000/- TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE TENDER NOTICE 1. The bidding documents can be purchased upon written request on company letter head along with requisite documents during office hours on or before 26-03-2024 from the office of the undersigned. 2. The tender shall be received on 27-03-2024 up to 1100 Hrs and shall be opened on the same day at 1130 Hrs in the office of undersigned in presence of bidders or their authorized representatives, who wish to present. 3. Bid security amounting to Rs. 40,000/- in shape of CDR with mentioning the bidder firm name issued from any scheduled bank of Pakistan in favor of Deputy Manager Civil (AM-North) NTDC Lahore should be attached with Bidding Documents. The documents at Sr#4 are prerequisite at the time of issuance of tender documents: 4. Eligibility conditions for Tenderer / Bidder are as under: 4.1 Firms registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council and renewed for the year 2023-24 with relevant categories mentioning specialization of above tenders (Copy of PEC registration certificate). 4.2 Income tax Registration certificate & returns filed with the Income Tax Department for the financial year 2022-23 including PRA registration. 4.3 Affidavit in original on judicial stamp paper that the firm has not been black listed by any Govt. /Semi Govt. organization & not involved in any litigation duly attested by 1st class magistrate. 4.4 Tenders will be issued only to the proprietor of the firm/company and will not be entitle to issue tenders for various/more than one firm/company nor offer bid for more than one firm/company. 4.5 Appointment letters of Engineers & Technical staff working with the firm as required by PEC laws. 4.6 List/detail of technical and supervisory staff along with attested copies of Degree/Diploma. 4.7 At least two (2) similar nature of works valuing not less than bid cost completed during last three (3) years. The contractor will have to provide the copies of work order and satisfactory completion certificate with in schedule time otherwise no consideration will be given. 4.8 List of tools & plants, equipment, machinery etc. 4.9 Bank statement for the last Six Months. 4.10 All duties & taxes of federal and provincial govt. taxes, levies or charges shall be applicable on contractors. Firm should have registration with Tax authorities as well as active Tax Payer. 5 Unsealed/Improper sealed/Incomplete /conditional bids/rates offered will be rejected straight away. 6 No idleness / Extra charges will be paid due to delay in completion of work. 7 All Contractors are strictly advised to visit the site before submitting the tender. 8 10% performance security should be submitted by successful contractor of each work. 9 The competent authority reserves the right to accept or reject the tenders before issuance of work order as per PPRA rules.
