The Subject Of The Contract Is The Supply And Installation Of It Equipment For The Modernization And Control Of The Irrigation Facilities Of The Municipality Of Kavalas. The Objective Of The Municipality Of Kavala Is To Modernize The E/M Facilities And Upgrade The Infrastructure With The Installation Of Remote Control And Remote Control Systems In The Irrigation Networks That Serve The Area Of The Kavala Plain, In Order To Achieve Integrated Management Of The Irrigation Networks, Through Electronic Mapping Of The Network Water Distribution. Thus, With The Installation Of Suitable E/M Equipment And Customized System Software, Information Will Be Collected (And Processed) From The Irrigation Water Production (Pumping) And Distribution Facilities In Order To Inform The System About: The Operating Status Of The E/M Equipment The Presentation Of The Quantitative Data Of Water Production (Pumping) Energy Consumption The Monitoring Of The Pressures In The Irrigation Network With The Creation And Installation Of Such A Telemetry/Remote-Control System, The Program Administrator/S Will Be Given The Opportunity, To Achieve The Optimal Operation Of The Irrigation System - By Maximizing The Use Of The Water Potential And Reducing Its Losses, While With The Correct Operation Of The Pumps There Will Be An Additional Benefit In The Drastic Reduction Of Operating Costs.
