ACC is seeking to appoint a nationwide panel of legal professionals (Partners and employees of law firms, Barristers Sole) with specific expertise in AC and medico-health law to represent ACC at reviews and appeals, under Part 5 of the Accident Compensation Act 2001. ACC will run a multi-staged procurement process to select the ACC Appeals and Reviews Panel. The first stage is an open Registration of Interest (ROI), which we intend to release in early April 2024 on the Government Electronic Tender Service (GETS). The ROI will be used to shortlist suitable legal professionals for stage two, which will be a closed Request for Proposal (RFP). Successful respondents to the ROI will be invited to submit a response to the RFP, to continue in the procurement process. The services being sought are out of scope of the All of Government (AoG) External Legal Panel. All communications regarding this procurement need to be made to the Procurement Facilitator to ensure probity over the procurement.
