Tenders are invited for Procurement of Battery Cages, Poultry Feed and Poultry (Layers, Broilers, & Guinea Keets) Closing Date: 02nd April, 2024 Price of Tender Document: Gh¢1200.00 No. of Lots: 1-8 Tender Description: 1. The Government of Ghana (the Recipient) has received financing from the African Development Bank hereinafter called the Bank towards the cost of the Savannah Agriculture Value Chain Development Project (SADEP) and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Supply and delivery of Poultry (Layers, Broilers, & Guinea Keets), Battery Cages, and Poultry Feed. For this contract, the Borrower shall process the payments using the Direct Payment disbursement method, as defined in the Banks Disbursement Guidelines and procedures for Investment Project Financing, except for those payments, which the contract provides to be made through letters of credit. 2. This invitation for bids follows the General Procurement Notice for this project that appeared on the UNDB online and the Banks website on 11th January, 2023. 4. Bidding will be conducted through the Open Competitive Bidding (National), (OCBN) method as specified in the Banks Procurement Framework for Borrowers October 2015 (Procurement Framework) as per the legal agreement and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Framework. 5. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from the Procurement Unit of the PCMU of SADEP (Angelo Kwashie, 0244235490) and inspect the bidding document during office hours 09:00 to 17:00 hours at the address(es) A or B given below on working days from 20th February, 2024. 6. The bidding document in the English language may be purchased by interested eligible Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of USD$100 or its equivalent. The method of payment will be by Bankers draft payable to the Savannah Agricultural Value Chain Development Project (SADEP) GOG Account or in cash at the Accounts Department of SADEP, Tamale Northern Region and at the Account office of the Ministry of Food and Agriculture Head Office Accra. The bidding document will be picked physically at the address(es) A or B below. 7. Bids must be delivered to the address (C) below on or before 10:00 hrs. GMT on 2 April 2024 Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected.
