Tenders are invited for Design Services for Development of Master Plan for John Smith Road Compound The specific deliverables are as follows: A. Review information provided in client design brief and design the most efficient layout of the property, while keeping as much of the existing green landscape. Structures should incorporate the use of modern technologies while utilizing as much of the natural elements into the design as possible. B. Prepare a master plan for the location and layout of the facilities based on findings, and design for a 20- year planning horizon based on efficient and safe functionality, modularity, connectivity (both physical and virtual), Green Building Design principles, local opportunities and constraints, and relevant national and governmental plans. C. Prepare a phased implementation plan for the development and execution of the Master Plan. The Services is expected to be carried out within five (5) calendar months of contract signing. BEL invites interested design firms to submit bids for the provision of these design services. The Services require a multi-disciplinary approach and firms must demonstrate in their expression of interest that they have: A. Master plan design, industrial engineering, and architectural competencies B. Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification C. Building Information Modelling (BIM) expertise as it relates to the design and construction stages. D. Financial and economic analysis of commercial/industrial building and facility layout designs E.
