NO QUESTIONS WILL BE ANSWERED. Through a Notice of Intent (NoI) the Queenstown Lakes District Council (QLDC) is advising interested parties of the intention to go to market to procure the services of a construction contractor. The Opportunity QLDC seeks the services of an experienced construction contractor for delivery of the Kingston Water Scheme Stage 1 project. QLDC requires a construction contractor with demonstrated experience in the delivery of infrastructure projects especially water treatment facilities. The project includes the following: Water treatment plant including earthworks, treatment building, mechanical and electrical works; Power supply including low voltage cables (to bore) and coordination of mains supply, transformer, and generator (with the lines company); Steel bolted tank reservoir including earthworks (performance specification); Access roads, fencing and landscaping; Rising main from the water bore headworks to the water treatment plant; Falling main from reservoir to development land to south of Kingston; and, Minor reticulation pipework within the existing Kingston township (provisional).
