The Mission Of The Department Of Foreign Affairs Is To Promote And Protect The Values, Interests And Economic Well-Being Of Ireland And Its People. The Role Of The Evaluation And Audit Unit (Eau) Is To Support, Protect And Enhance The Delivery Of The Department’S Objectives By Providing Independent Assessment, Assurance, Advice And Insight Regarding Corporate Performance, Governance, Risk Management And Internal Control. External Consultancy Services Are Sought To Be Part Of A Team With Staff From The Eau To Conduct An Exercise To Update The Evaluation Operations Manual (2012). An Updated Dfa Evaluation Manual Will Be A Key Source Of Information, Standards And Guidance To Complement The Evaluation Policy.
