The scope of the Contract Works includes but is not limited to maintenance of sealed and unsealed pavements, storm water structures, surface water channels, road shoulders, edge marker posts, signs, bridge maintenance (non-structural), footpath maintenance, street sweeping, reserves roads and carpark maintenance, mowing and chemical control of roadside vegetation, and emergency maintenance works. The contract also includes a forward works programme (FWP) for reseals, rehabilitation, localised widening and seal extension. The Principal requested a substantial increase in funding from previous years although this is still subject to approval.
