Expression Of Interest For Turnkey Housing Developments/Housing Schemes And/Or Land For The Provision Of Social And Affordable Housing To Clare County Councilclare County Council Is Seeking Expressions Of Interest From Developers, Contractors, Homeowners, And Landowners For The Provision Of Turnkey Housing Developments, Housing Schemes And Land For Social And Affordable Housing Purposes In The Major Towns And Villages In County Clare.Turnkey Housing Developments/Housing Schemes/Lands To Be Considered Must Be Close To Services And Within Walking Distance Of Shops, Schools, And Local Amenities. Housing Design Standards Should At A Minimum Meet The Requirements And Criteria Set Out In The Department Of Housing And Planning Publication, ‘Quality Housing For Sustainable Communities’ And Other Relevant Statutory Planning And Construction Standards Including Building Regulations.Regarding Proposed Affordable Housing Schemes The Affordable Housing Act 2021 Provides For Local Authorities To Acquire, Build Or Cause To Be Built, Affordable Dwellings That Can Be Subsequently Sold To Eligible Applicants (Assessed By Clare County Council) Through Direct Sales Agreements Between Purchasers And Developers. Land To Be Considered Must, Where Land Zoning Applies, Be Residentially Zoned.All Submissions Made Under This Expression Of Interest Will Be Considered.
