Tenders are invited for Underground Civil Works for Line 3 The project aims to incorporate climate and disaster resilience design standards, which includes, (i) train coaches and stations integrating elderly, women, children and people with disabilities (EWCD) design features; and (ii) gender-based violence prevention services, among others. The project will finance multimodal facilities to integrate the metro system with bus and feeder services, forming multimodal interchanges along the metro corridors with specific focus on improving access to educational institutes and markets. The project will also prepare a multimodal integration study and working plans to further improve commuters access, efficiency and coverage of the various modes of transport, while incorporating gender equality and social inclusion dimensions.
