The Project Addresses The Lack Of Adequate Short- And Long-Term Storage Facilitiesfor Live/Seafood Products To Facilitate Dedicated Air Shipments To Higher Margin European And Asianmarkets.Through The Provision Of Live Holding Technologies And In Combination With The Airport&Rsquo;S Centralizedlocation, It Is Estimated That The Number Of Dedicated Cargo Flights Will Increase.The Project Has Garnered Support From The Seafood Processors Of Newfoundland And Labrador And Hasthe Potential To Attract Investments In The Future From Several Seafood Producers And Shippers Due Theaccess It Provides To Higher Margin International Destinations.
