Publication Date: 02/14/2024 12:00 AM EST EOI Deadline: 02/28/2024 11:59 PM EST Description: IFC is seeking to hire a Consultant firm to support these efforts and strategically identify a pipeline of bankable investment opportunities and to devise strategies to attract investments into these opportunities, in close consultation and collaboration with IPA. The consultancy outputs are expected to inform IFC and IPA in charting the way forward on investment policies and action plans by identifying and validating priority investment sectors that: (1) strengthen the economic complexity and competitiveness of PNG and integrate the domestic firms into the global value chains; (2) enable creation of markets and promote value-adding investments by mobilizing private capital and attracting foreign direct investments; (3) diversify towards more sophisticated products/sectors and positions PNG well for key future trends and disruptions; and (4) conserve and promote sustainable use of natural capital and resources.
