Tenders Are Invited For Invitation To Tender For The Development Of Draft Guidance On An Ospar Approach To Applying Other Effective Area-Based Conservation Measures (Oecms).

To Develop Draft Guidance On The Interpretation And Approach To Establishing And Implementing Oecms Within Ospar, As A Contribution To The Ospar Target Set Out In The Neaes 2030, Taking Account Of International Definitions And Guidance. Internationally There Are Different Interpretations And Views On How To Apply The Concept Of Oecms. This Task Aims To Assist Ireland As Task Lead, And Ospar, In Developing A Consistent And Coherent Approach Within The Ospar Maritime Area. It Is Envisaged That This Work Will Draw On Information Gathered In The Ospar Mpa Data Calls Plus Developments And Approaches In Individual Countries, By Ospar Contracting Parties And Other Organisations Including The Arctic Council, European Union, Helcom And North-East Atlantic Fisheries Commission.
