The Objectives Of The Assignment Are: - Increasing Biodiversity Through An Ecological Connection Between Areas Where Genetic Exchange Of Plant Species Can Take Place; - Control Of Japanese Knotweed, Hogweed And Burdock; - Increase The Amenity Of Public Green Spaces. The Municipality Of Zaanstad Intends To Introduce Sheep Grazing In The Various Sub-Areas Within Zaanstad. This Concerns The Sub-Areas Westerkoog, Westerwatering, The Darwin Park, Peldersveld, T Veltpark, The Ringdijk And A Plot At A Boat Club. Grazing By Sheep In Zaanstad On 21 Hectares Of Extensive Grass Fields. A Grazing Map Showing Specific Grazing Areas Is Added As An Appendix. The Frequency Is Three Grazing Rounds Within 200 Grazing Days With Approximately 250 To 300 Sheep.
