J4N is part of the Covid-19 recovery package. This procurement supports a range of MfE projects that are between three to five years and aim to achieve specific social and environmental benefits, in particular employment and freshwater improvement. Many of these projects will stop receiving MfE funding in June 2025. MfE wants to ensure the value of the investment endures after funding has stopped. Part of this transition process involves connecting funding recipients to business strategy and financial sustainability services that will assist them in sustaining the gains made throughout their funding period and, ideally, assist the organisation to become more financially sustainable. MfE is seeking to gather a list of suppliers and a description of their services that deliver business strategy and financial sustainability services and share these with funding recipients, giving them the option to re-allocate some of their budget to engage a supplier of their choice.
