Expression of Interest are invited for Technical Assistance: Togo - Enhancing Regional Cooperation for Cyber Resilience. ISSUE DATE AND TIME: Jan 24,2024 12:39 CLOSING DATE AND TIME: Feb 08,2024 23:59 The Digital Development (DD) Global Practice of the World Bank seeks a consulting firm (henceforth Consultant) to provide support for finalizing the proposal for the creation of the African Center for Coordination and Research in Cybersecurity (ACCRC).While the ACCRC is a promising initiative; it could benefit from further technical assistance; particularly in terms of gathering country-level support; developing robust and sustainable financial plans as well as getting clarity on how it will complement and not duplicate other regional cybersecurity initiatives. This assignment will aim to facilitate the adoption of a demand-driven approach in finalizing the scope of work of the ACCRC; and to maximize synergies between the ACCRC and other regional initiatives (e.g.; at the level of ECOWAS and AUC). The final result of this assignment will be to facilitate the establishment of a first-of-its-kind regional hub for cybersecurity in a low-income country; which could play an instrumental role in enhancing cybersecurity in Africa and pooling key resources together. The objective of this assignment is therefore to support the effective operationalization of the ACCRC through the organization of consensus-building events in Africa; undertaking substantial analysis on best practices for regional cooperation on cybersecurity and the development of promotional material and support to further clarify the scope and financial model for the ACCRC.
