Tenders are invited for Support to the Development of a Roadmap for Electricity Self-Generation in PNG The objective of this terms of reference is to hire a Consultant to assist IFC in its engagement with the Prime Ministers Office and other stakeholders on the development of a roadmap to enable electricity self-generation in PNG. The Consultant will work with the IFC to: · Review the current status quo, in particular from a legal, regulatory, and legislative perspective. · Review the expected impact of self-generation on electricity generation and on the overall structure, governance, efficiency, financial viability and sustainability of the electricity sector. · Develop a roadmap to enable self-generation, and propose practical decisions to be taken, regarding policies, regulations and actions to enable self-generation in Papua New Guinea.
