Tenders are invited for Supply of Library Books (EE, ME, SWE) Tender Document last selling / downloading Date and Time: 14-Feb-2024 12:00 Tender/Proposal Closing Date and Time: 14-Feb-2024 12:30 Tender/Proposal Opening Date and Time: 14-Feb-2024 13:00 Eligibility of Tenderer: The Bidders with valid trade license by issued by MTI, Bhutan and valid tax clearance. All Bidders found to have a conflict of interest shall be disqualified. Bidders may be considered to have a conflict of interest with one or more parties in this bidding process if they: A) are associated, or have been associated in the past, with a firm or any of its affiliates which has been engaged by the Purchaser to provide consulting services for the preparation of the design, specifications and/or other documents to be used for the procurement of the Goods to be purchased pursuant to these Bidding Documents, B) submit more than one Bid in this bidding process, except for alternative offers permitted under ITB Clause 15. However, this does not limit the participation of subcontractors in more than one Bid. C) Employ or otherwise engage, either directly or through any of their affiliates, a spouse, dependent or close relative of a public servant of the RGoB who either is employed by the Purchaser or has authority over it. For the purposes of this Sub-Clause a close relative is defined as immediate family and own children.3.3 Government-owned enterprises in Bhutan shall be eligible only if they can establish that the(i)are legally and financially autonomous, (ii)operate under commercial law, and (iii)are not a dependent agency (directly or indirectly) of the Purchaser.3.4A Bidder that is under a declaration of ineligibility pursuant to ITB Sub-Clause 2.1 (c)shall not be eligible to participate in this bidding process in any capacity. 3.5 Bidders shall provide such evidence of their continued eligibility satisfactory to the Purchaser as the Purchaser shall reasonably request.
