The Independent Cities Of Leverkusen, Remscheid, Solingen And Wuppertal, As Well As The Districts Of Mettmann And Enneperuhr Are Taking Part In The Project. The Teleemergency Doctor Workstations Will Be Set Up Redundantly In Leverkusen And Mettmann And Form A Teleemergency Doctor Center. As One Of The Core Sponsors, The City Of Leverkusen Takes The Lead In Carrying Out The Procurement Process For All Municipalities Involved. The Order Volume Is Therefore Intended For All Municipalities Involved; The City Of Leverkusen Assumes Its Share In Accordance With The Contractually Agreed Distribution Key. The Contract Term Here Should Be 7 Years Plus A Three-Time Extension Option Of 2 Years Each, As Considerable Technical Effort Is Required To Convert The Vehicles And Set Up The Teleemergency Doctor System. To Establish This System, A Special Public Law Agreement Was Concluded Between 6 Municipalities. The Gradual Expansion Of The System Combined With The Retrofitting Or Procurement Of The Necessary Rescue Equipment Will Take Several Years Until It Is Fully Used.
